Keturah sat on the examination table wearing only the gown she had been provided with by the nursing staff. Anxious to know the results of her test, she nervously adjusted her gown in an attempt to close openings that threatened to expose her to an unexpected passerby. Moments later, her doctor came in with news of her condition.
“Hi, Keturah,” Doctor Fredericks said.
“Hi, Dr. Fredericks.”
“How are you feeling?”
“I’m fine,” Keturah said.
“A little nervous, huh?” he asked.
“A little.”
“Well, I have your results right here.”
